The music is hardcore as well as the melody of the lyrics untill you translate the German and find out they're talking Crazy :bandit:

I'd bump it for sure if they had a better cause to get with but I listien to

Rage Against the Machine, Anthrax because you just can't beat MAD HOUSE, some Led and maybe throw in some Iron Maiden I guess.

Not That I'm downing anything or anyone but I heard some Christian Rock at one of my buddies house and some of that stuff was harder than the Black Mettal I been hearing thats going around and starting to blow up in Tailand even :lick:

Just goes to so that the Hardest Rock is truly underground, Just do a random search on Imesh, Napster or Lime Wire in the categories of Rock, Metal Alternative Rock and so on and listien to some random artist you never heard ofr and see what you find.

Some of the hardest metal I've heard had no lyrics at all and just speed ripping on the frets if I've termed that right :laugh:

But yeah, those Rammstein beats are better Sic smoke:

This is exactly the type discussion I was shooting for! Living in the same town (Orlando FL) for 19 years and being around the same type of people limits your musical field of vision. It seems that radio stations are more interested in keeping ratings than trying new things which finds me turning the dial "off" more than on.

I really like older stuff so long as it's not the same stuff that's been driven under by said radio stations. Every now and then I'll rediscover some old music and reflect on how I used to see things when I first heard it.

pronunced Funk Kung Fusion

and also the 10th anniversary 3CD Set called The Zen to One Ratio.

Both albums are a mix of intelligent Hip Hop Rap, tripped out Orchestra music, Brizillian Jazz, Acid Jazz, some serious hard rock I believe and pretty much anything else that is creative and cool.

Must haves for sure, specailly up this threads ally Fo Sho

The only music I ever listened to in my zed was classic rock. Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and of course Pink Floyd, anything along those lines. Music from the Z's time.

I suggest listening to Internet Radio Stations from offshore to get better variety (I like one call Zeilsteen). That's where a lot of the obscure stuff comes from and commercial radio just plays various versions of genre specific Top 40. Also try college radio, some neat stuff there (some downright bad stuff too).

Oh, and is doesn't hurt I'm a music nut (some of the bands mentioned I've tracked down from a 10 second clip in a TV ad).

I haven't had a working stereo in any of the 4 cars I've owned. The Z takes this one step further with the gaping hole in the console where the stock stereo once was.

I drive close to 10,000 miles per year in the Z. I've still got about $400 worth of speakers and head unit in a box somewhere waiting to go into a car...and I bought that when I had my first car.

Someday when the time is right it'll get installed...but it's never really been a priority.

Listen to what you like, as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters. I'm 57 years old and have a music degree. That said, I doubt that my tastes would match up with a lot of what I've read so far. Can't deal with Hip-Hop/Rap. It's just not my generation. I do like music from the late 60s through the 80s and it becomes somewhat sporadic after that. I like jazz from the 50s-70s for the reason that was mentioned above:

I just like the raw feeling of the music w/o being distracted by lyrics.

But I also love lyrics. There are musicians out there that are absolute poets and that sometimes gets lost in the music. I can't pin it down by saying I like any one particular kind of music. I like virtually everything that Hrududu listed and some of what others listed except WingZro. Sorry, bro. I'm just from a different generation. I never listen to radio stations when I drive, except when I drive my wife's car with her in it. All my car music is either on mp3 cd's or in an mp3 player.
