Posted August 23, 200717 yr comment_219562 I am still around, but just not posting much these days. Thought I would share a couple of pics and a link to an in car video from the Inaugural Eagle's Nest Hillclimb last weekend in N.C.. My car is the yellow one and the BEAUTIFUL blue is Bill Coffey's. I finished about .3 back from Bill but I had one more run than he did. Unfortunately he broke a tranny. Enjoy Video link Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25305-hillclimb-video/ Share on other sites

August 24, 200717 yr comment_219579 I guess if its an ITS car you can't put in a ZX 5 speed and get rid of that big 2-3 shift gap. Seemed like a lot of the time you were stuck right in that area. Looked like fun though! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25305-hillclimb-video/#findComment-219579 Share on other sites

Seemed like a lot of the time you were stuck right in that area. Looked like fun though! You got that right! The other part of it was COLD tires and COLD brakes. I just didn't push that hard not knowing if the tires and brakes would work. (read as I am a chicken) I am running HT-10's in front and Carbotech shoes and they need the heat. They never really got hot enough to work well, even on the downhill return runs. The tire temps NEVER came up.I should of put in the 3.90 diff but I was running with a 3.73 Oh well, I know what to do for next year :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25305-hillclimb-video/#findComment-219612 Share on other sites
