Posted August 24, 200717 yr comment_219581 I was attending a meeting this morning when I noticed I had a voice message during the break. It was from a guy from Oregon I had won an auction from on eBay. I called him back because he said he would send me some other parts as well for no extra charge - engine harness and heater panel. At the very minute I was telling him I thought I was the only person in Okanogan County who owned a 240Z (not in a wrecking yard that is) an orange 1972 pulled up and parked about 30 yards away. The gentleman that owned the car said he bought it for $1700 12 years ago. It was in really nice shape and I've included a few pictures. The guy is the District Ranger for the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan and Wenatchee Nat'l Forest. His name is John Newcom and looked to be a couple inches shorter than me - around 6'4" which just goes to show how well these cars fit taller people. I told him about the club and Dave (Zsondabrain) because he is having a few headlight problems.
