Posted August 25, 200717 yr comment_219732 Well she is up on the rotisserie and the new floor panel seams are all welded up. Now that I can see everything so much better I realized that either I missed a reinforcement plate on the drivers rear floor or there wasn't one there originally(I think I missed it). Does anybody know if this is supposed to be on both sides? August 25, 200717 yr comment_219735 there should be a doubler in the tunnel for the seat belt and then one to match the other side on the bottom all the way across.Looking good I was there this past fall.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25325-floorboard-reinforcement-on-240/#findComment-219735 Share on other sites
August 25, 200717 yr Author comment_219740 Thank you for the reply. When I removed the floors to replace them there wasn't much left around the back corners. I had to fabricate most of the seat belt and floor bracing. Love your avatar and the color!! August 25, 200717 yr comment_219746 Thanks That is the stock color (918). She is back on wheels now and we are waiting for some parts to get back to finish her up. Hopefully this fall but, will depend on how soon the parts are found and completed.
