Posted August 28, 200717 yr comment_220025 Funny story, I was removing a lot of the stuff on the exterior of my car to get it ready for a paint job and while removing the rear bumper I noticed there was a Hide-a-Key stuck on the inside. Much to my delight I opened it up to reveal one of the original keys. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25355-hide-a-key/ Share on other sites

August 28, 200717 yr comment_220031 Congrats on finding the key! It's fun finding stuff in cars. All I found in my Z was a cast iron chicken & a Chuck E Cheese token.:disappoinI kinda like the chicken. August 28, 200717 yr comment_220032 That's awesome! I'd be thrilled to find that.I think the coolest thing that I found in my car left by the previous owners was the original shift knob hiding under the seat. I bet there weren't more than 30 different ones. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25355-hide-a-key/#findComment-220042 Share on other sites

August 31, 200717 yr comment_220159 Can you guys pull your keys out of the ignition while the car is running?I used to be able to; I thought it was a nice feature compared to new cars. Now that I've got a new lock set and keys for the car I can't do that anymore.
