you seem to know a lot about the JDM 240Z's

do you have any pics of body kits for the 240Z from japan?

i was looking for stuff that is totally different from the stuff in North America and that is not g-nose style...i found quite a few pics off the net but nothing really looked that different from the stuff i usually see...and a lot of the different stuff was on a g-nose which i'm not looking for....think ya can help me?

Bear with me while I look into photos and info. for you. I am actually supposed to be working, not looking at this site!.........

One thing I would be concerned about is the fact that anything in Japan is usually not all that cheap. So many times people ask me to find things for them, only to chicken out when they hear the Japanese retail price ( let alone the cost of shipping and Import Duty ).

If you really want to investigate stuff from Japan, you better have a strong constitution in this respect.

One other thing; if I tell you what is available and where to get it, it does not stop there. Most of the suppliers would not even answer an English-language enquiry - let alone take an order from you. Have you thought about that? I myself have a slight advantage having lived there and speaking a fair bit of Japanese - but even then it can sometimes be difficult. Many of these companies have never received an "Export" order before...........

I don't want to waste time and effort unless you are really serious.

thanks for looking into it for me....to save you some trouble, maybe you can just find me the pics first before going to the trouble of finding exactly which shop i can get them from....if you can find out exactly where i can get a particular kit from, that would be awesome!

oh yeah, and don't worry about me getting stuff from japan...although you bring up some very important points, i already know that stuff from japan is usually very expensive...thanks for the warning though....it shouldn't be too hard for me...i know a couple of tuner shops where i live that would import it for me as they are always importing JDM spec stuff and have there own personal contacts down in japan...plus i know a couple other guys that have friends down in japan that can import almost anything...and there are also friends of mine that head down to japan every once in a while...i just need to find out what i want and where to get it....these guys have never imported 240Z stuff from japan so they have no clue on where to get it...thanks for your trouble...but if you have to go to too much trouble don't worry about it...:classic:
