Posted August 30, 200717 yr comment_220084 Okay so I've finally rebuilt my engine to my 280z and it actually runs. The only problem is the PO had the vacuum lines so jerry-rigged that I have no idea what goes to where. Most of them were not connected in the first place when I got the car. I have searched the Forums found the HVAC diagram and I have the FSM and it really doesn't seem to help too much. Does anyone have a better picture? August 30, 200717 yr comment_220086 About the best diagram you'll find is in the 78 FSM. It's located on page ET-3. There are some things you can't see like anthing that's underneath what's shown. If you have any questions, I have a 78 the has the correct routing of anything you can't see in the diagram. August 30, 200717 yr comment_220097 I have a '78 FSM as well as a '76 FSM and I have not found the vacuum diagrams to be very useful. I would love to see a real photo with labels showing each vacuum line and its routing. I have one or two lines on my '78 that I simply cannot figure out. I have looked at the FSM until my eyes went blurry, but it didn't help :stupid:. I also have a '75 parts car to look at for help, but there are too many differences between the years for it to have been of any help.
