actually, it sounds like someone got a car in pretty roughed up condition, threw on some "go fast" and "pretty" parts and called it a day.

Well, the Datsun racing mirrors on this car haven't been sold in many years, so someone started fixing up the car a long time ago. And, getting fender flares installed is somewhat beyond throwing parts on.

If only the cars could talk ... this one probably has an interesting, or perhaps tragic, story to tell.

That's a set of wheels in need of refinishing and some other parts(the door mirrors appear to be the metal variety sold by Nissan Comp and used on the Black Pearl).

ah yes; those parts would be something more than "cobbled together"

from the looks of it, that's an MSA-style exhaust (judging by the muffler and tip)

I does look like those parts were installed well before the car became ''roughed up".

Yet another use for duct tape-window sealant!

Where are the windshield wipers? Not that I would want to drive this car in the rain...or at all.

That's got to be a lot of fun shifting with no shift knob.

.....and with a shift lever cut that short.

It looks like it may have been left on the side of the road for a while or even at a wrecking yard possibly from those whiped off/faded numbers that you can barely make out on the windshield that the state patrol puts on cars that have sat on the side of the highway for a period of time if the car is not claimed. Or it could have been through hell and backLOL.

A bit too far gone for me. I 've got to admit though, I've seen far worse. A lot of that car is probably held together by the bondo and the 6 previous paintjobs.

In it's present condition it's an organ donor, IMO.
