New pix of the 71

Nice car, curious as to what front spoiler you have on there. Is it a MSA one or one of those from Les C?

I'm just trying to insure that I get what is on your car versus what I have seen being depicted as BRE style.

Guys, I've got a BRE spook coming from Les (Classic Datsun), should arrive in a day or two. I'll post a few pics when I get it.

I'll be curious to see how it fits. I got one a few weeks ago, and had it put on the car by my Z mechanic (since he had the car anyway) and there are some gaps on each side where it does not fit the valance panel. The valance panel on the car is not bent, dented, etc so I expected a better fit. If it's not raining tonight, I'll try to snap a photo and post it to illustrate what I am talking about!

The BRE spook from motorsports fits like a glove. It is on both the finished Z's. Will be on the third when finished

I got my BRE from CDM today. Haven't installed it yet, obviously. But holding it up to the car, it looks to me as if it will fit very nicely. Good quality glass work, too. Hand laid cloth, not blown chopped fibers.

Any recommendations for mounting hardware?

Yep, thats the one I have as well Arne. It seemed to fit well when I held it up to the car, and put a couple of clips on it. However, once the bolts were on, it had a gaps on each side (not very big) inside of the brake duct where the scoop lip did not fit flush with the valance panel. It may be the way the mechanic bolted it on with 4 bolts (with large fender washers). If your's fits perfect with the 12 bolts you mentioned in the other thread, post some pics so I can go back and have the mech do it over with more bolts! :classic:

If anyone has expertise in this area, help me find an air dam that is similar to the European model which is thin and looks a lot like this car.

Are you looking for the Factory rally spoiler? IIRC, there is someone in Australia selling them as apparently they are only approved international historic rally approved front spoiler. I think you can find their website through a Google search.
