Anyone have a set of these Spinners?

Hello :(

Some of you might already know I lost my Passenger Rear wheel spinner not long,

Well last week my Passenger Front spinner decided it wanted to abbandon ship too and I've been driving all over town and still can't find them :mad:

These things were on nice and tight and I can't see how they could just pop off all though the front one was kind of sitting on a lug nut. BUT STILL :mad:

Does anyone happen to have extras of these spinners below or know where I can possibly buy some along with the center caps. I think I found the Z emblems on Ebay but still need the center caps aswell I suppose.

The rims are 14 inch P/E (Performance Specialties)

Im gussing from the 1970's, photos of them below.

Thanks for any leads or help.

I'll post some pics later of what the rims look like with out the spinners,

Kind of have a vintage racer look. All in all not to bad but still a GAPPING hole though....

If you find a source for them, better buy extras. Because when I used to sell those things in the '80s customers were always losing them. Real common problem. Back in the day, the makers of those things wouldn't do anything about them doing that either, their line was that they were for display only, and not designed nor legal for road use.

Ain't that a BLIP !

They're made of Plastic so they should of made them better or made a boat load of extras. I mean how cheap is plastic... really :tapemouth

The Driver sides seem to hold up fine but I'm still yaking those off today or tommorow.

Right now shes parked, I'm changing my rack bushings for MSA Polys and just finished instaling new NAPA Fuel Pump last night, so Pulling them off now would be best idea.

I'm told the Spinners or not original for these rims but they fit the screw on threads perfectly.

Seriouly thinking if all else fails of having a metal shop Fab a set of exact replicas from one of the remaning two if it's possible some time in the future and just going with a diff set of rims mean time.

Really hoping some extras exist cause I like the Race with a touch of (uhhem) elegance this combination brings :smoke:

It's all a personal thing. I've always thought they looked cheap and rather tacky, personally. Even when I sold them. They're one of those non-functional add-ons that have no redeeming social value, in my opinion.

the fact that they are screw-on is a dead giveaway as to why the passenger side is falling off! as you accelerate forward, the driver's side spinners are getting tighter. the exact opposite is true for the passenger side. to prevent this from happening again, use something like a thread locker to keep them on the wheels. my $0.02

Oh, ummm the spinners screw on to the rims.

They're not the push on types I've heard about, a better

Yea - I posted on that other thread as well. I've owned a set of these wheels for 35 years .. and there's no threads in the hub holes. So, I guess someone had to have your wheels threaded to take these spinners.

Anyway, I'm with Arne on this one ...

I believe it was member mlc240z who posted this on that thread so I assumed the rims came in two types.

Chromed steel spinners. :) I am going to run them on my car (as shown in the pic).

Can't knock that ^_^

Especially nice on those Turbines

Nice paint work by the way.

Also see you have a roller, the only thing I use to get under my car is the

shirt on my back and a Rain Gutter ROFL
