Anyone have a set of these Spinners?

WingZro , you have Les Schwab Tire Stores down in Dago? I bought my set that look just like yours, only I went for powder coated gloss black. Mine have a bolt that is in the center of the hub and the spinner screws on to it. then there are three small allen set screws that you tighten down so the Spinner cannot come off , they are hidden from view. Mine are metal not plastic and they come in either chrome or black. I have been running mine for 7 yrs now, and have had no problems. Obviously I like the look or I wouldn't have them on my Z. To each his own. Gary

I believe it was member mlc240z who posted this on that thread so I assumed the rims came in two types.

"....center hole size is 3.25" as best I can measure. My fronts have screw on caps, the rears have push on"

Yes - he does have caps that use screws to secure them ... here's his photo !

^are you in SD?

Yuba City, CA 50 miles north of Sacromento.

We have a Les Schwab here too and they're pretty cool folks but if you ever

need to fix your alignement don't go to them.

They said my Rack Busings were worn out causing drifting to the right along

with slop in the steering (loose) which was true, and Nissan don't sell the

bushings alone but only sold the entire rack at $301.00.

When I told them I aldready had the Bushings in the Hatch and asked if they

could put'em on for me they said they don't install costumer parts

But If I got the Bushings on they'd make sure they were tightend down to

spec and fix the alignment from there. (No bushings, No alignement possible)

Maybe I should told them to order from MSA

Absolutely, to each their own. Trust me, over the 17 years I worked in tires and wheels, I sold a passel of those things. Obviously lots of people do like the look. And I've got no problem with that.

I THINK I FOUND THE LITTLE BUGGERS :D:D:rambo: ! !

WO HOOOO ! ! ! ! !

Heres the website on Ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Spinners-Corvette-Wheel-Angle-Spinner-Set-Hub-C4-84-87_W0QQitemZ180166461098QQihZ008QQcategoryZ43961QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Supossedly these they're selling are for stock Corvette 84-87 aluminum

wheels and are directional meaning 2 left and 2 right hand sides.

Spinners themselves are also Aluminum.

Dead spot one to the ones I need as they were "Universaly made" as stated

before although my LesShwab didn't carry them.

I'll contact them shortly and see if the measurements

are the same as mine.

For archive reference, (2-7/16" to 2-9/16" center hole.

The mounting area for an optional emblem measures 1¾")

Notice the comparisons though,

sorry for the big picture :tapemouth

I finnally found a great price on these spinners and bought em :)

3 dollors, how about that!

There not directional like mine but they are the ones I needed for the

passenger side (Top spoke facing forward).

and I even found two matchin center cap emblems aswell with the plastic

covering over them just like my drivers side so my missing 2 spinners is now

complet again :D all in two days!

Ebay ad says this set of spinners came off a '66 mustang but ohwell,

as long as they screw on.

And the emblems off a 79-81 280ZX for $10.
