I'm assuming the side walls are the same height as the 215/60/14's cause I would like putting wider 225/60/14's like you have on the back. You running 7 inch wide rims with those?

I am running them on 14x7 Western Turbines. The sidewalls would actually be a little bit higher than 215/60s. The 225/60 tire is very close to the stock rolling diameter of 195/70. I have the tires on all four corners.

Gary is correct about rubbing on the front valence. I do rub the front valence on sharp turns, the right moreso than the left.

Sumitomos are what i just bought for the rear of my z and fairly cheap

I believe they are (H rated) from speaking on the phone.

i ran the yoko avid s/t's on my 260 in that size. two years ago from tirerack, they were about $50 a piece, not too bad.

Federal makes the Formoza FD1 in the 215/60/14, and Les Schwab tires had a listing for the Formoza FD1 in a 225/60/14 6 months ago, even though I can't find that size on Federals website.

I'd just put them on the car if I were you. That process also shortens tire life and might even sacrifice safety.

Ohh :surprised I was thinking along those lines but the little booklet they

gave me said it would increase life and rain traction. But saftey on the otherhand...
