Does any one have a better wiring diagram then the factory, and haynes manuals?

I'm curious about two things.

1. What do you mean by better? It's not a complicated wiring system.

2. What are you trying to do to/with the electrical system? Maybe someone here can help you.

I dont remember where I got this...but it may help you out. Its for a '72 though.

For only 17.95 + shipping you can get this diagram for your specific model year http://www.colorwiringdiagrams.com/datsun.htm. I have one for my 76 which is so much more complex than your car and it was the best money I have spent on my Z. If a person can't follow this wiring diagram thay need to shut up their car and take it to someone who can do it for them. I highly recommend this document to any classic Z owner.

That's actually for a 70. No Rear Window Defrost or Relay, no Fuel Pump wiring, and no Automatic Transmission notation for the Distributor.

However, the main part of it will work fine for a M/T 71 Z.
