Do You Text while Driving?

Your car was obviously in the way when that girl was in such a hurry to get her car parked in or out!

OTOH, it would be nice to have a dart gun with suction-cup darts to tag idiots, and after they get a bunch of darts, they get a big ticket. But then everybody would be shooting everybody else, with these idiot's st00pid idea of "good driving."

Remember that the Allstate nsurance guy on TV says that there's a 1-in-8 ( 13%) chance that you'll have a collision at any given time?

SCARY!

After about 4 years of using my 240z regularly as a DD it finally ended up in the body shop as of today... why? Because a sorority girl neighbor of mine parked illegally in the garage spot next to mine (usually occupied by a meticulous Audi driving male) and plowed into me either coming in or pulling out. I have to give her credit that she did leave a note, but it still angers me that after all the close calls I've saved my car from, it really came down to some idiot breaking the rules in a secure garage I pay a substantial fee to keep my Z parked in.

I totally understand this one. The ONLY time that my Z has been damaged is when I was PARKED and NOT even in the car!!!

The first week I owned my Z, An old man with a van (no rear windows) and a towball that stuck out over 12" from his bumper, backed into my front bumper, hitting it dead center and splitting the bumper in the middle. That's why I now have 2 corner bumpers instead of a full bumper in front.

one year after that, in the SAME DAMN PARKING LOT!!!, A drunk in a HUGE 4X4 truck, backed over my Z's hood with his tow hitch (no ball, just the square hitch part) the pics are in my gallory and some of you probably remember me ranting and bitching about it. He dented the hell out of the hood, indented my radiator under the hood and drove away before any one could get his licence.

At least the guy in the van came back and paid for a new bumper, even though I reused what I had.

I talk on the phone while driving but I used the speaker phone feature so I can keep BOTH hands and eyes on the wheel.

Dave.

I've never done it and think it's down right stupid as you have to (for me atleaste) have to be constantly looking down at the keys while you do it. I actually have a friend who was doing it while he was driving and rammed the guy infront from doing it, dumbass. I can't even hold a cell phone, steer and shift at the sametime, although a lot of people can though but it's pretty hard for me atleaste. I just use a hands free Bluetooth when I drive so when people call I don't have to hold my cell phone.:paranoid:

Hey there girl,

While I sympathise with you and hope that Kharma isn't too badley damaged, the important thing is, ARE YOU O.K????

After all, Kharma can be put back to her original beauty with lots of TLC and a bottomless pocket and a lot less pain and discomfort than with you. When push comes to shove little lady, YOU are the important one.

Rick.

I'm fine and Kharma is as beautiful as ever. I had to buff G6 paint out of my bumper and clean off headlight glass. Needless to say, Kharma and I came out of it much better that the G6 girl did. She was scared of how much trouble she was going to be in. "My dad just bought me this car a week ago!" I told her the same thing, "what matters most is that you're okay" And believe me, the G6 didn't look very good. It could have been much worse.
