Doesn't appear to be too far gone, needs some rust repair, but would make a great restoration canditate in my opinion. Since it's got such low mileage, I don't think I'd restore it, I'd just get it to the point where it's driveable again and have an all orginal Z.

I think that it isn't to bad. I was expecting much more rust damage. the car is vary do able. there is a lot to do because of the years of non operation. It is going to be interesting to see just how much it brings. I am supprised to see a air cond. in the car.

I was eyeing that one myself thinking the same thing.

It'd be nice to have a Green Z with Black Steel wheels to drive around in while

Reminds me of a Neon Green RHD Fairlady Z with White rag top I was dreaming about from Austraila a few months ago on EBAY .

Was in similar condition as this one with a fair asking price too but getting her to Cali would've cost a coupla grand from my understanding, but I think this Z here will go for a fair price as well :)

It seems a good car to me. I wish I could live in America and bought these beautifull cars at this lower prices.

A car like that In Portugal, might value near 10.000 USD, do to it´s rarity.

I guess I already told that before, but in Europe this is a rare sight!

Hmmm..27-year old barn find in Maine means there IS rust in that car... Look at the drain holes on the floorboards...Exactly how mine looked, and right after the undercoating was off I was on the phone with Charlie Osborne....

Other than that, it looks good. Big points for the dash being uncracked...I hope it scores around 2-3k, being an East Coast car

Edit: Not too fired up about how the undercarriage looks, especially that pic fourth row on the right...Looks like a patch panel to me....Could prove problematic if that rust creeps up beyond the floor...

How 'fair' depends on what the reserve is.

I agree, and I suspect that the reserve is set higher than it ought to be.

Just a guess, but I imagine there's more rusty/crusty areas than what we're being shown, and in any event, getting the varnish out of the tank and lines and de-gunking the carbs is not going to be an insignificant project.

The body looks good, at least, but I'm always suspicious when there are only a few photos and some inconsistencies in the description (the car was prepared for storage, but the tank is full of gas; it's rust-free but look out for the rust, etc). And who parks a car with 69K miles and nothing wrong with it? I'd like to hear some more about that part of the story.....

Wow that is a nice Z. Was expecting almost the complete opposite.

That would be a sweet buy. What I am thinking of doing is when my S10 dies, buy a S30 Z car, drop a Viper motor in there (Its a dream, but I know it will be a V8), and use the I6 for a rat rod.

The Viper's are V10's. Check out these photo's.
