zbane Posted September 15, 2007 Share #13 Posted September 15, 2007 Anybody have or seen this one for sale anywhere? Made by same company, Jada Toys. I went by Wallyworld again hoping to find either the "for sale" model or the new hot wheels car (which I did find, but only a variety 10 pack) but ended up finding this gem. It's odd, though. The model has a turbo four cylinder, and the speedometer is maxed out.
zbane Posted September 15, 2007 Share #14 Posted September 15, 2007 The model goes together very quickly since it only has six screws. Overall quality seems good, but as you can see in the photos the paint lines don't exactly meet up, especially around the headlamp covers. Additionally, the covers are a little loose but nothing to worry about. Not a bad deal at $11 and change.
ChrisA Posted September 15, 2007 Share #15 Posted September 15, 2007 The model has a turbo four cylinder. That'd be that rare SR20DET model! Still pretty neat model though. I'm on the hunt for them today. Thanks for the pictures.
sblake01 Posted September 15, 2007 Share #16 Posted September 15, 2007 I don't know, I've seen enough of those conversions in real life to not really consider them rare.
ChrisA Posted September 15, 2007 Share #17 Posted September 15, 2007 I don't know, I've seen enough of those conversions in real life to not really consider them rare.:sick:I can imagine so in Cali. I was just trying some bad humor. Out here its just your typical small block Chevy or 302 Ford. Did have a factory Scarab at Midwest Z Fest over the Labor Day Holiday, it was very nice. I wonder if the other Jada Option D Z's are 4 bangers as well?

kyoru Posted September 20, 2007 Share #21 Posted September 20, 2007 I was in walmart and I thought I'd look in the toy section at cars' date=' maybe I'll find a Z. I found a car by Jada Toys, its about 3/4" longer than a hot wheels and they package them as the "for sale" line of cars. The paint job isnt that great but it has the badging in the right areas, and it has a 'for sale' sign in the front window.[/quote']i have one exactly like that but much larger. and the body color is red. it's by jada really dope toy. dade280 Posted September 27, 2007 Share #23 Posted September 27, 2007 All the walgreens around here have the Jada Drift series, yet i havent found a Z yet. Quite funny to see a 22 year old man rummaging through the toys section pulling out every box.
