Where do I get/find a rear hatch strut for my 240z? My is worthless now!

Are you looking for OEM or aftermarket? I've seen OEM ones going for $150. But rockauto has an aftermarket one that I bought for about $29 that works perfectly. And it comes with the mounting balls that you will use instead of the original brackets.

Can't you just get it re-gassed???????????

These have been on Ebay for awhile now (perhaps a month?) Has anyone purchased one and if so, how well does it work and how easy is it to install?

Hey Fun,

I realize that..... I was inquiring for myself (and for others) on a new strut designed specifically for 240Zs that is now available on Ebay.

Anyway, it's at a very good price and worth looking into. Has anyone purchase one yet? I might go ahead and buy one and find out and let you guys know. Since new ones from Nissan run $125.00-$150.00, I think it may be worth the gamble.
