I have a train wreck on my regular e-mail ignore but have managed to keep from adding him to this site. Actually, he's kind of funny on this site. As Bugs would say: "What a baffoon".

Ditto; and I would add Bugs' other comment: "What a MAROON!!"

As long as they own a Z they count as a real person worth my time. Sure, there are some real dumbasses out there but at one time or another we've all been "that dumbass" whether we like it/know it or not.

The irritating thing is when someone posts frantically needing immediate help and fails to describe relevant info. It seems any/every board has newbs who don't know how to use a search function or interrelate with others. Nothing worth banning someone from existence though.

We've got a very nice board with knowlegable people. An added bonus is the wit encountered in some of the replies.

Think my fav post was... FIRE!!!

This was very entertaining.

The only thing worth ignoring to me are things that moderators get to clean up such as "Nigerian has $1M for you if we get your acct#'s" kinda thing.

FWIW

Keep in mind there are plenty of people who come here who don't yet own a Z and are able to obtain a wealth of information by visiting this site. I tend to give new users the benefit of the doubt and only ignore people after repeat offenses - like the person with the 280ZX who did nothing but post mileage updates.

Ah yes, the kid with the trans so full of oil that it leaks out of the shifter hole. But, he's safe now, it doesn't run. And the guy whose ZX had more miles on it back when he was posting here than it does right now on eBay. For at least the eighth time with no sale.

Nice:) I.... um...errrr see what you mean. :)ROFL I never even noticed those posts for some odd reason. Think I was ignoring them.

The kid w/ the leaking fluid reminds me of a guy I used to work with. He thought that you checked the oil through the valve cover. Seeing that his oil was "low" he got twelve quarts and topped it off. He too was then safe because his ride didn't run. LOL

Because that one kid with the magic ZX got on my nerves so bad I noted his mileage whenever he gave us an update. Pay attention to the dates. The mileage drops nearly 800 miles in one day and then increases until it miraculously drops 1800 miles to only 200 miles more than it had at the end of April:

4/28/07 7000

4/29/07 6202

4/30/07 7608

5/01/07 7645

5/09/07 7902

7/19/07 8817

8/06/07 9000

9/12/07 7200 (in present eBay listing)

The picture in the eBay as shows 7043 but that could have been taken any time.

What gives me great big dose of the tom tits are those who call for immediate assistance with a problem, receive heaps of advice and then,....

and then, ....... and then, .......... we don't hear a peep out of them to say that the problem has been fixed and what it was that fixed the damned problem.

Rick.
