Posted September 21, 200717 yr comment_222394 I believe I am having problem with the elect. fuel pump on my '73 z. As i recall, I thought I used to be able to hear the fuel pump operating when the ignition was on but the car not started. I am currently not hearing anything. Is my assumption correct. The car does not seem to run very long under load(normal driving), but it does idle ok. Thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25637-240z-electric-fuel-pump/ Share on other sites
September 21, 200717 yr comment_222421 It sounds like your pump is not running when it should be. It could be a blown fuse which is usually located under the dash in a separate fuse holder, or possibly the relay, but only the later 73s had relays, or a wiring problem or the pump itself may be bad. Might be easiest to start at the pump and check for 12v and chase the problem from there.Good Luck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25637-240z-electric-fuel-pump/#findComment-222421 Share on other sites
