Wing, those look like 14x6 to me, plus I don't think AR ever made 15" four lug in that style. In fact, in four lug all I recall was 14x6, not even 14x7. How did you measure them? If you measured from the outer lips in both width and diameter to get 15x7, then they really are 14x6. The correct place to measure from is the bead seat area.

I measured from the Rim lip on top to the lip on the other side and

came up with 15 inches tall, but as far as width I did the same thing and

got 7 inches.

I'll resure with pics next time for all to see just to make either way on the

width :)

However I have to say for all I tried I can not find a makers kark on this

rim but every little minut detail points to bieng the exact same design as the AR's .

I know for a fact the Shelby Rims are different when it comes to the

spokes curvature hoving compared this rim to my engine mechanics who

has 2 Shelby rims.

Not sure but if this is a dead set knock off of the AR Vectors then maybe this

might have been in a 15x7 and a 15x6. Possible? but by who?

And why is mine Blue, seems to be factory applied :ermm:

I think the basic gist of this thread has been lost..........quite some time ago.
Ah, ok. I skimmed through a few pages of the thread without reading much, because there seemed to be a lot of 'filler'.

:)

It may be off the original intention but if anyone is looking for a "Turbine" style

rim then now they have a place to chose which one they want.

Remember Darbji's delima when all the different versions got thrown at her :)LOL

That's what I thought. That's not the correct way to measure a rim. Yours are 14x6s. The measuring point for both width and diameter is inside the lip where the base of the tire's bead seats. But as a rough guide you can measure as you did from the lips and then subtract 1" from each dimension.

Wise man, makes sense yo.

But where can I find the makers mark if this indeed a AR?

I looked everywhere and all I can find is the chalking my friend wrote that

says it came off a '79 280ZX.

At the very least thinking of keeping it and putting a round glass top on it

and turnig it into a end table for my bed room or something.

I just love that Light Blue
