Hi all,

I just posted a bunch of photos from a pretty cool event here in Oregon. We all drove our cars up to the top of Mary's Peak and then followed it up with a very cool BBQ. All of it was put on by a local club = Datsun's Northwest.

It was especially fun for me because this was the first time I brought the yellow Z out of the garage and took her on a serious drive. Most of the driving I've done has been around the block or within a 5 mile radius. I purchased some of the K&N Filters, bolted on the stock seat belts, and had some fun!

There was about 40 people in attendance and the whole thing was a blast. As you can see in the photos, it was a beautiful day in Oregon and we couldn't have asked for a better time.

Looks like that was more fun than I had rebuilding the red car's transmission on Saturday. (Especially since I'm not done with it yet.) I'll have to watch for the next Datsuns NW gathering.

Yea! You missed out on a very beautiful day. It was a lot of fun and a slight crisp in the air kept our cars running cool. One mishap, someone (not me) ended up in the ditch! No big damage, just a cracked airdam and some hurt pride (brakes failed).
