Getting this type of message board

I really like the style of this board. It beats the crap out of the free Yahoo message board that I'm currently using for another hobby.

Is it possible to purchase the software or lease the space? How does one get this sort of service? If I remember right this board is hosted out of a private residence right??

Currently I'm using homestead (read simple/easy to use) as my server for a website. Would it be possible to somehow run this through an outside computer... cheaply?

I don't want to screw up/ slowdown my connection so that Halo3 games aren't thrown. :)

Thanks for any advice.
