November 1, 200717 yr Author comment_226938 The seat is now fine by me! Drives like a champ, feel like I'm in a rocket (except for the lack of power steering )! Just learned from an Admin here (brilliant and helpful, Mike) some step-by-step instructions on dealing with the newly discovered wipers not working. Were totally fine last week, not so much now. Always more to discover. Also found the blinkers which worked last test (a few weeks back), now aren't blinking. Hope it's just fuses, think maybe. Love the Z, don't love the unknowns, but workin' it. November 1, 200717 yr Author comment_226953 Gadzooks! Think I lost everyone here, thread died a sad death. Sorry if I didn't incent response. Sure thing, it's not "new", but it does work, is adjustable and feels comfy. It's what I thought to be a creative solution to the driver's seat bottom that cost me less than $80 and only 2 weeks of my time (not full time, ) ... and works for us. Given the reality that whoever actually is the new owner of our Z, will most likely have his/her own agenda in terms of goals/restorations and the like, it makes no sense to us to invest more $s. Appreciate the time and energy from this top notch team! Your expertise and willingness to help novice types like yours truly is awe-inspiring!
