TomoHawk Posted September 30, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 30, 2007 Who's using a car cover?Unless it fits perfectly with no way for the wind to get inside, then it'll blow off. Mine has a plastic gromet on each side, but the only thing you can do is to hook a rubber cord under the car to the two grommets, but it's not fun to lay on the ground when it's raining.I've tried pony clamps on the four corners of the bumpers. I thought it would be easiest to tie hooks/clasps directly on the side grommets and hook those under the rocker panel seams, but there's nothing under the car to hook onto.Has anybody thought of another way to secure a car cover? thxZ
dade280 Posted September 30, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 30, 2007 i use bungee cords and hook it into my rims. I have stock wheels so i dunno for your case.
psdenno Posted September 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 30, 2007 You can get a long cable lock that goes through the two grommets and under the car - not too difficult to install & remove. Keeps the cover on in the wind.
