This is kind of both a question and a suggestion, but I was thinking it would be cool if the club store sold Classic Z Car Club licence plate frames. I don't know about you guys, but I'd buy one and how cool would that be if you passed somebody that had the sameone?!? Any how, I was curious if this would be something worth looking into or maybe they were for sale at one time and now are not for one reason or another.

Why not just buy a sticker ( or a sheet with several different phrases) from the club store that you put on a generic, blank frame? The stickers might already be available, or much more feasible for the club to offer.

I've wanted one that says "This IS my other car" or in my Pre-Z days I wanted one that said something like "if I had another car, would I really be driving this?"

but, back on topic, yeah a ClassicZClub plate frame would be good.

We had frames at one time, but, the quality from the service provider was horrible. We had ideas for stickers as well, but, that never surfaced. Let me see if I can put something together in the next few months. The license plate frame is an awesome idea, but, I really want to do those right -- ie: chrome and nice lettering.

Don't you think "My other car is a classic Datsun Z" is too specific? Granted, if you have a Z you probably have another car that this one can go onto, so this phrase would be a good choice ( for the club) to buy in quantity. And what about the people with Frogs ( 350Zs?) Those aren't really "classic" or "Datsun." Otherwise, we should come up with a phrase that would work on more cars or for more people.

That is, unless there is a provider of custom license plate frames that will handle personal choices for the printed text, and ship it directly to you, with Mike getting a cut.

Personally, I'd go for one that specifically goes on the Z (like just classicZcar.com)
