Classic Z Car Club licence plate frames?

I've only seen the ricers with the phrase "drive it like you stole it," and I really would rather not be considered in that same league.
In contrast to this, I'd recommend what Zs-ondabrain put on his earlier graphic, where he put on "240Z- Drive it like you stole it."

I think it's pretty much apparent that if that frame is on a 240Z, then it's not referring to some kind of rice.

We had frames at one time, but, the quality from the service provider was horrible. We had ideas for stickers as well, but, that never surfaced. Let me see if I can put something together in the next few months. The license plate frame is an awesome idea, but, I really want to do those right -- ie: chrome and nice lettering.

I was curious if you've had any time to look into doing this and getting some made again?

I too would be in for frames, no less than 2 but more than likely 4. As far as "My Other Car is a Classic Z" being too specific... I think it's too general. I'd prefer a "My Other Car is a 240Z". I received the chrome 240Z frame that MSA sells at Christmas but had to relegate it to front license plate duty for the reason that Arne stated, the 240Z is at the bottom nearly completely covering the licensing state (South Carolina).

That being said, it would probably be best to offer them in top or bottom position logos. And since that would already narrow down profit margins then it would be more lucrative to offer only one logo and I think www.ClassicZCars.com is the best bet.

Now maybe we should start a thread for stickers too. Vinyl decals would be great for the "My Other Car is a..." and even a www.ClassicZCars.com would be awesome.

A bit of useful information for the future.. maybe.... im good friend with a guy that owns his own advertisement company... He does screen printing and vinyl graphics... He can have multi colored decals made for the corners of windows etc....

Just in case the plate frame idea falls through...

If anyone has a design in mind...such as the logo in the upper left corner of your screen.... then it should be easy and cheep to get them made up in bulk....

I found this site, and they charge $0.65 each for 500 and a $75 set-up fee for a total of $400 http://www.gppinc.com/details/1023_4.html

I figure if Mike was to Take pre-orders at $5 each, He'd only have to sell 100 of them to make up for the total cost, and that would leave 400 at $5 to make a profit of $2000 for the sites maintanence and hardware costs.

The Profit could also be used to buy T-shirts, hats, stickers, Vinals, etc, etc.....

Hell, I'll take 4 off the top for the 2 Z's in MY driveway.

Thinking about everybody here,

Dave.

Here's a few I did a long time ago and a blank for whoever wants to dotheir own.

I had emailed our Admin last year dealing with setting up the CZCC logo at Lands Ends and then letting the members call into Lands End and any shirt - coat - pull over- or any item that they logo we could have logo'd, and let each member pay for what ever they order and not have to have an inventory of any item at all (that would be the perfect distributor for CZCC apparel). The site would not have to inventory anything. There is an approx $100 set up charge for clubs and that is it. I'm sure 10 of us would cowboy up $10 each to get it done for the rest of the members (I know I would).

Never heard back a thing either.............still waiting!

We could have tshirts - hats - coats - fleese pullovers - jackets - windbreakers - well, if Lands Ends makes it and if there is room for a logo, they can put it on. I bet even a small duffle bag for car shows................still waiting!
