Posted October 5, 200717 yr comment_223676 Alrighty, after "negotiating" for the relase of these photos from my ex-girlfriend, I have pics of one of my Z's. These were taken at Motorsport this year. I've owned her for 10 years, and believe me, there are some stories and adventures to tell. I'm sure everyone out there can relate. She was repainted back to her original color (#306) last year. The interior is halfway done, tranny rebulit, and running strong at 299,000 miles on an un-rebuilt engine......I apologize for the giant images. My pride and joy. October 5, 200717 yr comment_223678 Very nice - that Bra is pretty neat too, I've got one but it doesn't cover the bumper. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25763-my-beloved-78/#findComment-223678 Share on other sites
October 5, 200717 yr Author comment_223687 Thank you! The first bra didn't quite work out (Le Bra). This one I got at Motorsport Auto. Easy to install. The "Datsun" patch was my ex's idea. October 5, 200717 yr comment_223691 What didn't work out about the Le Bra? I've had one on mine for quite some time now. I like the fact that it two piece allowing the hood to be opened easily. That's why I chose it over the MSA bra. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25763-my-beloved-78/#findComment-223691 Share on other sites

I like the fact that it two piece allowing the hood to be opened easily. That's why I chose it over the MSA bra. Ideally the Le Bra product would've been my choice too. Unfortunately it just didn't seem to not work out. One of the metal grommets chipped my paint, so after that I said, "Screw that!" I got my money back. But, maybe I just wasn't careful enough. Since mine is a one piece, I can still easily loosen the top portion for hood access. A slight pain, but not too bad considering. Glad your has been working out, sincerely. October 11, 200717 yr comment_224119 I have a one piece but don't use it. It's kind of hard to put on. I promised it to KDMatt but I haven't heard from him in a while. Anyway, take more pics of that car. I would love to see her.
