Only 240's ?????????????

Zed says, "I think that the 260Z is the most collectable Z simply because of it's rarity.

Well, all I have to say is that Ford Pinto's are becoming rare these days, doesn't exactly make them collectable. LOL

Seriously, only one year of U.S. distribution makes for a serious lack of devotion from consumers. Here today gone tomorrow. True collectability only comes from the desire of those willing to part with the cash for the item not solely from the limited nature of the item.

my $.02 but enjoy your 260 to the max!

I own a 1973 240Z. :P

You spelled weight wrong - more like wait! wait! I can't keep up. Sorry I just dont buy into a stock 240 being faster than a 5 speed 280.

I know this is 240z.org since Mike used the logo I made at the top of the page. LOL

I am sure I will buy a 240 one of these days but the 280's look better in my opinion. Even if I buy a 240 I would add body kits to it since I never cared for how the front end and bumpers look on a 240.

This is fantastic so many opions. Never heard of such die hard 280 fans before. Everyone loves there model and that's what makes it so great. If we didn't have different models we wouldn't be having this discussion. Long live the Zed. Zorroooooooooo.

I think I'm gonna get killed for even mentioning this, but I think the 260Z 2+2 has a certain attraction... I've got two of them at the moment and once they become one I'll be putting a kit a front dam on and then start racing it.....

I've found from experience and asking other guys at the track, that the 2+2 also handles better that the 2 seaters and has a "better ride quality". Ok, I know the carbs are crap (I'm running the '71 SU's) but overall I'm going to support the 260Z 2+2....

(Yes, I'm now ducking and running :finger: )

Cheers,

Ross.

BTW: Lets not let this become a war over which is better, again...

:devious:

OOOOOHHHHHH, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT.ROFL

Ask a leading question then sit back and enjoy the fun.

If only I'd planned it that way!!!!!!!!:cheeky:

The fact is that whether it be a 240, 260, 260 and a bit, (2+2), or 280, it is still a Z. That's the important thing.

Now to put on the thinking cap and see what other leading questions I can come up with.

1974 Bronze 260 Z Sports Coupe.
