Couldn't agree with you more, I have all the components bar the wheels to make mine 240 back to original condition. As less are around yours just becomes worth more. The reason I don't buy a 280ZX is because there heavy and bloody awful looking. The 240Z is the best looking one for ME. I only intend on putting a Front Spoiler as far as body work is concerned and that is only because I can't stand the car wandering at speeds over 160KPH it just ain't safe. See ya Mate....

I reckon that as I get older, my right foot gets lighter on the pedal.

I was out on the open road the other day, the 260 was purring, hugging the bends, there was very little "bum slip" as she cornered, I glanced at the speedo and damn near POOPED. I was doing 170kph and didn't realise it. I slowed down rather QUICK.

For what its worth, I got a 70 z with carbs and and l28 and it does 0-60 in about 7.2 secs, tops about 120 mph.

The best part about having a 240Z here in California, USA, is SMOG EXEMPT and 2300 LBS!!!!!!! (anything 73' and older)

My L28 with 240Z carbs in my 260Z 2+2 ran 0-100kph in 9.0.

I'm transplanting this gear now into my 240Z and was wondering what improvement it would make in the lighter car. Will be interested to see how close to you I am when I have it finished. See ya.....

I still have my 240 from 1970. Still like it the best. It still has the same old stuff it came off the show room with. I too am into original is best. there will always be some one who will blow by me like I am going backwards. Yet I, still have the feel of the road.
