Well, this is the color that my Z car originally was.

Currently my car is blue and it is a really bad paint job that needs to be redone. Plus I have two surface rust issues that need to be taken care of before they cancer that will rein the current paint. I have been taking samples, pictures, and what not for colors that I like and might want to put on my Z.

When I popped the hood of my Z car, the orginal paint still made up the engine bay and I had thought that the mustard yellow was nasty. Though after seeing that color there in its true form on ebay, that color is awesome!

I might end up having to paint my car this color instead of the original dark gray/steel color with black pin stripes that I had in mind.

That is a classic Datsun color. I think every 3rd 510 was painted in that color. I know ours was.

my wife's was this color originally, as well

commonly refered as baby poo yellow by a fellow member.

i like it.

word.

Someone posted 920 Gold, and that is the correct color. It was also known as Butterscotch Yellow. That's the color of my Z, too.

When I first saw that color at night in 1970, it looked really ugly. But once the cosmoline was removed, it brightened quite nicely. I'm currently having my Z repainted 920, but with a little bit of metallic tossed in just to give it a bit of snap. I'll let you know how it turns out later next week (being painted Tuesday), but the sample spray was pretty pretty.

If you like it, go for it.

My car was that color when I bought it, at least it was somewhere under several layers of paint, and bondo.

My parents had a 74 B210 that was that color at one time. I thought it was the ugliest car I had ever seen. But my dad always bought brown cars in that era, because he thought that they didn't show dirt and rust. To each his own...
