Painting a spook?

To address the aircraft radome paint questions:

It's transmissive

It doesn't reflect radar.

Even with the Spook, my front end would get a little light at 601.

The paint is actually quite durable with rocks & birds, but not curbs.

You can get it at your friendly neighborhood Air Force Base. Just tell the guy with the gun at the gate that Denno sent you - and slip him $5.

Sounds like a story there, but I denno!

Shameless, I know... but I had to make sure he knew the Village Idiot position has already been filled...:laugh:...

Seriously, I would think the pebbly texture of the bedliner would be unattractive on the front of the car, with a completely uniform smooth yet fuzzy finish(like the rubberized cellphone suits) maybe... Add a little black to the color of the car and put the shado on the part-or paint it with black plastikote, or tooldip.

Mine is currently the original black gelcoat. I'll paint it red to match the car when I get around to painting the car some day. Probably add a flex agent when I have it done.
