Posted October 11, 200717 yr comment_224229 I need to know what you guys are using for engine paint. (Datsun blue) I had one guy tell me it was GM223 Plasti-Cote. Seems too light for me. Anyone else have a brand and color for me? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25823-need-engine-paint/ Share on other sites

October 12, 200717 yr comment_224239 I used Chrysler blue engine enamel from POR15.com. Somewhat Noticeably different beside the proper color, but not noticeable when installed. The stuf coats exceptionally well, I bought the smallest can, and still have 3/4 of it left! I have a second engine to do...I have a picture of the painted engine, if it will help, I'll post it.WillZhome has the PPG formula for mixing it posted some where... October 12, 200717 yr comment_224241 I ended up painting the engine, aircleaner box, carbon canister and a/c ilder pulley and bracket Pontiac Blue which is pretty close to the original Nissan blue. I kind of regret not getting that blue, but at the time we were doing the engine swap, we really didn't have the time to go searching around for the original color.
