Posted October 18, 200717 yr comment_225159 Anyone know if the air cleaner "wing bolts" that attach the air cleaner to the carbs are still available? I'm swapping out my individual air cleaners for the factory setup. The air box I have came with the car but one of the bolts is missing. Thanks. October 18, 200717 yr comment_225164 Don't know if they're still available but they still show as good part numbers. 16516-E3210 is the bolt itself and 16516-S0900 is the bolt with the packing. October 18, 200717 yr Author comment_225205 Thanks... where did you locate the part numbers? I've been looking for a parts book, or a parts site that has diagrams like all of the better cycle parts sites do. October 18, 200717 yr comment_225207 They're on the Z car microfiche cd. Then I run them through the search on NissanParts.cc to see if they're still valid. That doesn't mean that they're still available just that they're still in the system. October 18, 200717 yr comment_225209 If you're talking about the 2 wingnut style bolts that hold the lid of the aircleaner box to the carbs, I probably have a couple sitting around the shop.PM me your mailing address and I'll send it to ya. You decide if and how much ya wanna pay for it. Do you also need the adaptor nut that bolts the box to the carb, and accepts the wing bolt?Dave. October 18, 200717 yr comment_225210 I kind of figured someone would have some laying around. I thought I did but I believe the ones I have were for a roadster and are different. If you are lucky you might find some at a dealer in a dusty old bin or take the offer to get them used from someone else. Do you have a part number for the gasket/seal between the airbox cover and the lid? Mine is brittle. Mine is brittle. Here's the pages that cover those. Hopefully they came through clear enough: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25912-72-air-cleaner-fasteners/#findComment-225582 Share on other sites
