Carl, I hope you don't mind that I have reposted your scan of the BSR Catalog.

I was quite happy to finally know where the cladding for the '83 Bob Newman car came from, as I quite like that kit.

So, I looked up Kaminari on google and found the website. Alas, they are no longer distributing the kit for my zx, but the do have kits for the S30's.

Just thought some folks might like to know.

Are you sure the race car used that same kit? My guess would be that the kit was styled to look like the car. After all most body kits seem to just add extra weight by bonding new panels over the existing panels.

Perhaps my phrasing was poor in my opening statement-it would certainly make sense that Kaminari styled their kit after the Newman car.

Still, I am happy to know that kits were available for the s130 that look pretty cool.

I second Bartman's comments. I've been tied-up with all the fires in my area, but I did get the airdam on without having to do any trimming. The fitment is great. You do have to do a little bit of drilling for the turn signal mounting holes, etc., but that is it.

The fiberglas quality is top notch, much better than the $200 kits MSA sells. I'll post pictures later this week when I finally get home.
