Driving home the other night in my Z. Dark, city streets. Unfamiliar roads. Making a long sweeping left hand turn. All of the sudden BANG! A sidewalk in the middle of the road. One of those medium barrier things. Hit the left front HARD! I felt bad. The impact was so hard it knocked the horn pad off the steering wheel.
I felt like my baby got violated. When I got home I did a quick look around and the only dammage I could find was a big blister looking bump on my tire. It goes from the edge of the rim to the tire tread and is about 3 inches wide. Rim looks o.k. The only other dammage I could find the next day was some chipped paint from the top rear side of the door (by the window molding) where it hit the rear quarter pannel. Be careful out there guys. The world is out to get us.
