October 23, 200717 yr comment_225875 Hey, quick question, a little off topic, but is the s30 a GT? I see that on some cars like it's a good thing, and I saw on a youtube 240z video that the s30 was a GT. If it is, how many cars compared to others are GTs, and what's the benefit? If a car isn't a GT, then what is it? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25978-gt-r/#findComment-225875 Share on other sites

October 24, 200717 yr comment_225909 I hope it is as impressive as the hype, because at the prices that have been rumored, there are very few buyers, and a lot of really impressive cars available. If a car isn't a GT, then what is it?GT is a style of car, a sports car with a bit of luxury, the term has lost it meaning these days with manufacturers slapping a GT badge on any old sporty version of whatever car to try and sell more numbers. I suggest you start a new topic about this if you want to explore it further, and leave this one to the GT-R.Back on topic, The GT-R, I want to like it, but its just so ....(i dont want to say it)... ugly. Maybe its the sort of car who's looks have to grow on you. I hope it has more appeal in the metal, so to speak, than it does in photos. Don't want to start a whole thread over what needs only one answer. Besides, I thought GT stood for Gas Turbine? Whatever, don't bother answering, don't want to impose on the almight exclusivity of the Thread.
