Hey, quick question, a little off topic, but is the s30 a GT? I see that on some cars like it's a good thing, and I saw on a youtube 240z video that the s30 was a GT. If it is, how many cars compared to others are GTs, and what's the benefit? If a car isn't a GT, then what is it?

GT is a style of car, a sports car with a bit of luxury, the term has lost it meaning these days with manufacturers slapping a GT badge on any old sporty version of whatever car to try and sell more numbers.

I suggest you start a new topic about this if you want to explore it further, and leave this one to the GT-R.

Back on topic, The GT-R, I want to like it, but its just so ....(i dont want to say it)... ugly. Maybe its the sort of car who's looks have to grow on you. I hope it has more appeal in the metal, so to speak, than it does in photos.

No thanks, I only had a quick question, since the car everyone is drooling over here had GT in the title. Don't want to start a whole thread over what needs only one answer. Besides, I thought GT stood for Gas Turbine? Whatever, don't bother answering, don't want to impose on the almight exclusivity of the Thread.

Yay, thanks for the sarcasm. and I already answered your question. :stupid:

If you searched, you'd probably find its been discussed plenty of times before.

GT probably stands for alot of things.
