November 3, 200717 yr comment_227187 I talk on irc all the time. Granted i dont use proper punctuation there but i try to keep the spelling and grammar decent. Its a problem with education. English is my 3rd language and if i can learn to speak properly other people can too. November 3, 200717 yr Author comment_227200 Glad to know I'm not the only one! I guess being married to an English teacher for 20 years has rubbed off on me a bit. Funny thing is, it doesn't bother her one bit. She points out to me that the English language (as well as all languages I'm sure) is an ever evolving creature. Point in case; 15th or 14th century "English" is almost unrecognizable today. I only wish my grade school teacher had felt the same way, sure would have saved my knuckles from feeling her wrath after turning in less than perfect writing assignments! Then again, I guess that kind of teaching is "old school" now too. November 3, 200717 yr comment_227201 Hey old guys, don't feel bad. I'm only 22 and improper English bugs the living crap out of me. I'm not an English major or anything like that I work as a body technician, but holy heck some people just plain don't care! I try to keep grammar the best I can but sometimes I screw up. Oh well at least, unlike my generation, I try. Just figured that some of you would like to know that even us young pups still care.
