Seems like he just cleaned it up a bit to me. This is what happens when a Z gets into the hands of the wrong kind of collector ( American muscle in his garage).

I wonder what he would say if i were to send him a question with that link? LOL

Just a little rant from a fellow 260z owner.

Some Comments and replies on the car:

Q: awesome car,and I noticed that it is an automatic(automatics were common in the 260 1/2,but to see one in an early model 260 is very rare). The car deserves to be taken care of,and of course driven as cars are built for.Hopefuly (not to name drop)jay len---(shoudnt do that),might be a z fan,and put it in his collection. This is one to say is the nicest(most factory)left. good luck. Oct-26-07

A: I know it the nicest z ,thats why if I do not sell it I do not care, Thank you for comments, and maybe I will call jays museum, thanks Demetri.

Q: Have you considered selling it to a museum? Im sure Nismo/Nissan or some classic Japanese car museum would take it. It looks like it should still have the "new car" smell. Oct-23-07

A: yes it still has its new car smell, I Think This car should go to a collector who would enjoy it instead of a of sitting in a museum, But I might consider it, Thanks for your email

Q: this car is AWESOME(like it is sitting on a dealer ship car lot somewhere in 1974).The only thing to change on it would be a four barrel carb. and only to really get the performance that you cant get from the flat top carb. and of course put the original carbs. in well packaged box for safe keeping.Im sure the person that buys this car will be using it for show and not driving purposes.best of luck. Oct-21-07

A: The car is really unbelievable, I don't think you would need to touch this z, it would be a sin, plus this z is so quick, since it is bran new, the car is so responsive, the carbs open instantly, it also sound like a beautiful running sowing machine at idle,Thank you for your response Demetri

Q: I have seen many z cars and have owned 71-77,I currently have two-260zs one has a 350 chevy motor ,the other is all original except the four barrel on it(63,300 original miles)candy apple red with butterschoth interior. BUT YOU HAVE THE SWEETEST RIDE HANDS DOWN.like you found it in a time capsule. good luck. you must not have any teenage boys at home, because Im sure they would make sure this car didnt get sold. Oct-18-07

A: Thank you for your comment, I know this car is unbelievable, I wish I was not selling it, because I know I will never get one like this again in my life, even if I restored one it will never be factory fresh.

I inquired as to how much he paid for it and referenced the previous ad. Lets see if that is shown on the ebay ad.

To illuminate Caveat Emptor = Buyer beware!

Yea this is America and you can do the same any any other country I'm sure but I guess I should sell my Z which I paid $2500 for for $25000 business huh no that just BS.

And I'm not here to start a war zone so whatever response you have to make on this response I'm not gonna read it.

Caveat Emptor. Last I looked this is still America and profit is the chief goal of any business and most individuals. You may not like muscle car collectors but there's nothing wrong or immoral about the prices those cars sell for.

Word!!! The main problem that most people seem to have with this and the other $20K 260Z is the price. If you have no intention of buying it, what's the point of criticizing it or antagonizing the seller?

You could try to sell it at that price.....

Same thing with this seller; he can list the car for whatever price he likes. It's just not likely to sell at the price he's asking.

Why does every thread lately have to be about this car?
