Other than my friends or at Club meetings , I haven't seen another 240Z in a year. I do see a few 280s from time to time , but most of them look like drivers that need work. The same at the Wednesday cruse in at Portland Raceway. There are 4 of us with 240s and only once in a while another will show up. This is mostly a Hot Rod / Custom car affair. But there are on average 600+ cars and some times over 1000. The same with Datsun Roadsters , even less of them. Gary

Up here there are only a few of Zs on the road, one 280 that I have seen twice in two years - we almost went off the road when we first saw each other, kinda like Maggie and the unibrow kid in the Simpsons.

There is also one 280ZX - experienced a very freindly crossing (exuberant hand wave and big smiles) and a 300ZX (seen parked only)

Also rumours of a couple of Cali 240s recently imported - haven't seen them yet.

Funny how it works - I don't have to actually get a good look to recognize one - it's like a sixth sense - If I get a tiny glance I usually pick it up on it immediately.

One of my friends from school who is also on here has a 240 so see him but other than that it's all 280 2+2's that I see and usually in pretty poor condition and the owners don't wave back to evidently not really z fanatics.

There's a couple around here, a nice green 280Z (w/ a 510) parked at a house at the south end of town and about four miles to the north, just across the border in Osoyoos, BC, there's an orange '72 240Z. The owner of the 240Z used to post on here every once in awhile, but haven't heard from him lately. Can't remember his name right now. These are usually parked outside, hopefully they'll be going indoors before the snow flies. Gary D.

I seldom ever see a 240z on the road. There is a blue 280z that is in the area and I pass him about once every couple of months. Other than that, I hardly ever see a first generation Z on the road. It's always a big excitment when I do pass one and I've found most of Z drivers are pretty friendly and give a wave.

Actually, here in the Eugene-Springfield area of Oregon, I see one or two 240Zs a month, pretty much year-around. 280Zs are still fairly common, I see at least one or two per week. I see ZXs frequently.

I've seen a total of 3 since I've owned this car (not including the Ontario Z fest), one in 1993 when I lived in Nova Scotia and thats it.

I've talked to 10+ people who say they've got one at home but not on the roads.

Once or twice a year at the SEZshootout or up at Road Atlanta. Not very many here on the road.

Weird, I've done a lot of business all through out Georgia. I've sold at least 15 to 20 HLH and PLH's in Georgia.

Surprisingly, I see a couple per month around here. Lot of 280Z's too.

I usually see one or two everyday here in Covina. And they're usually fixed up. The one I did see that needed a paint job was a 280zx, and those are usually not common around here.

back when i didn't own a z and, were looking to buy one, i used to see one like once every two weeks. it kinda felt like it was sign that i needed to get one soon,. now that i own one, i see one like once a month.

Not counting mine, :cheeky: I think that I have seen perhaps 3 or 4 since I bought my car back in 2002. One of those was at a hotel parking lot in Smyrna Tennessee, so it is conceivable that he was going to some sort of Nissan event at the factory.

That's funny, my next door neighbor too has a Z car, actually one from each generation except the 350 next time I see him, I should mention the site to him.
