Indeed they become very brittle, as I have unsuccessfully tried to remove one off of a junk Z. Since Randy (rtaylor) told me that the piece was rare, I have been hesitant to remove mine as to not break it. Has anyone tried to order one recently, or if NLA, would this be an easy piece to reproduce?

Mine isn't too brittle, I've had it off - carefully. Don't know how tough it would be to repro this part, but it'd be a nice thing to have available again.

Ok, I just got off the phone with my local Nissan dealer parts guy and he looked up the number provided by AZ-240z, and he said all it said under the description was hose wire clip. Also he told me that he could not order it and that all the other nissans order from the same source so it may be NLA. He suggested getting one second hand or an after-market replacement and then apologized for not being able to help me with my "510".

If anyone is able/willing to reproduce this part, I could try to remove mine and send it in to get specs etc.

Kats had stuff on his website about that clip. The one Nissan was selling upto now was not the same as original

What is the part number of the clip Nissan is currently offering?
