Posted November 7, 200717 yr comment_227724 i have a '72 240z. this is my first restoration project ever, so i am teaching myself how to do nearly everything.but i have this one wire that comes up out of the bundle of wires on the right side of the car and it just ends..it doesn't connect to anything.i have a picture of an engine bay with that wire and it is attacked to something that looks like maybe an engine compartment light..? im not sure..in the picture, the.."thing".. that i am confused with is just to the left of the suspension in the engine bay.the link:http://www.angelfire.com/sk3/jjgajewski/bzngnl.jpg Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26151-what-is-that/ Share on other sites
November 7, 200717 yr comment_227725 If I understand you correctly, you are talking about the standard engine compartment light (gold cadmium-colored thing, w/ white globe) left (as your sample picture is orientated) of the front passenger side strut tower). If you have an unknown wire there and no engine compartment light, that's what it probably goes to. Gary D.
