DeMoore Posted November 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2007 I just put some brass bushings in my shifter from ebay for about 15 bucks. The store link is http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcaptdavetoolsor do a search for seller captdavetoolsHe has 100% feedback. I'm happy with the set I bought. SteveJ Posted November 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 9, 2007 This might be a more economical alternative: http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/shifterbushing/index.html
sblake01 Posted November 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 10, 2007 I tried the brass bushings. Didn't like the 'buzz' in the shifter. The stock ones work fine, and are quieter. I make sure I keep a couple of sets on hand.
280~Master Posted November 10, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 10, 2007 I don't like the atlantic Z set up, did that and it just does not fit right. Drilling and sorts. If you want quiet then use the nylon/plastic bushings if you want long life out of them, use the brass ones.

I used a flathead screwdriver and it took about 2 minutes.
