Is it generally hard to sell an original series 1 240z?

Here's my take : Anybody that has owned / shopped for Datsuns are generally as cheap as they get . They / we / I SQUEEZE a nickel until the beaver / buffalo sh!ts , and you know it. :devious: Have a good Corvette for sale ? It will go quickly, for the price asked.

Have a good Datsun for sale ? Get ready to wade through hours and days setting up appointments to test drive , clean to sell , prep etc. What an absolute waste of time around here ! Datsun owners / wannabee owners around here must all be Dutch / Scottish or any other known born cheapie nationality , must have it for $500.00 , it's only a Datsun , right ? :stupid:

I didn't even read most of the other comments above , because up here in Canada the Datsun market sucks . My car would sell in two seconds in the States ! ( Or so I think ) No , I didn't pay too much for it , the wannabee test pilots love it , but like others have said , the potential buyer of Datsuns that know they can't get it for $500 disappears into thin air , their promises faintly dying in the wind.......

Unkle, I'm going to print out and save your post and put it up on the wall in my garage. If that doesn't sum up my general opinion of that side of the Datsun experience, I don't know what does! That and the fact that most of the exclusive Dastun vendors seem to want at least that $500 you spoke of for any part or piece that they even remotely consider to be rare.
