Mike - I have asked this question before. Other members have mentioned it also.

Case in point. A member uploads a pic to the gallery. We cannot see it in any detail until it is approved. We only see the thumbnail on the front page. The next time I sign on the pic is no longer present as a thumbnail on the front page and I can't find it in any of the galleries. Is there an easier way to find a particular members pics? It was so much better when we could click on a members profile and the link to their gallery was there. If there is an easy way to see a members gallery and we are just missing it, let us know. Thanks.

I second that.. We used to be able to click on a members name in the avatar area, next to a post and could go right to their gallory with a click of "View this members gallory"

I really wish that was still there cause it seems to take forever to find a meber gallory when going in alphabetical order.

I've missed this feature, too. Often I want to view a photo that shows up on the front page, but it hasn't been approved. Then by the time it is approved, it's been replaced my more 'non-approved' images. You know what I mean?

On the other hand, if more of the long-time members were able to approve photos when they showed up, perhaps that would help?

Is there any likelyhood that this will get fixed?

The simple solution would be to not show the thumbnails of non approved images. Surely its just a tweak of some sql somewhere.

There was some talk about adding one or more additional photo moderators a while back, but I think that was put on the back burner while the server replacement plan was developing. This reminder might bring that back to the forefront.

How about letting members posting pics and having a 'report this as...' button if inappropriate material is the concern?

I also wait for the pic to be approved, only to find it gone, later replaced with another pic that needs to be approved.

The problem with auto-approval and having members report inappropriate pics is that if we don't have enough photo moderators the inappropriate pictures don't get deleted promptly. The ultimate answer is still more photo moderators.
