Posted November 14, 200717 yr comment_228572 My friend & I were going to try to fix a dent on his 89 Camry. I was looking to buy some body filler but I am confused as to which one to get. Anybody have any opinions on which of these would work best?http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/c-499-body-fillers.aspx?cid=FM1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26233-body-filler-question/ Share on other sites
November 14, 200717 yr comment_228575 Perhaps if you could post a picture of the damage the resident experts can give you a good idea of what approach to take. There's more to consider besides what (if any) filler to use. You have to worry about primer and paint as well. November 14, 200717 yr comment_228576 Post some pictures as Mike stated. How much body work experience do you and your friend have? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26233-body-filler-question/#findComment-228576 Share on other sites

I also bought some finishing putty but found it was harder to sand than the gold so it is still sitting in my garage.Make sure you beat the dent out or use a slide hammer to pull it out.
