January 2, 200817 yr comment_232852 I'm new to this site, too. I sold a '79 RHD Fairlady on ebay.com during the summer of '06 with a slightly better interior and exterior. Only got $600 for it, after paying about $950 + shipping the year prior. :hurt: Needed too much body work for me to take on as my first Z restoration, so I went with a non-running '73 with a decent body instead. Hope your sale works out better than mine.Check out the MSA catalog - there is a nicely restored blue RHD Fairlady in it. January 3, 200817 yr comment_232910 Chad -- maybe the shop you work at will let you park the car there -- very handy if you are going to do the work on it there yourself. January 3, 200817 yr Author comment_232920 I actual had my mustang at the shop untill we lost our lower parking lot and now have next to no parking. However at thi point it dosnt matter. The wife and I sat down and talked about it. Decided it realy just would not be worth it in the long run. If we could eventualy get out of it what we put into it I would do it but after talking to enthusiasts like you self and others, we have decided just to sell it. Beside I was not doing it for the right reasons it was her dads car and the family wanted to see it done and it is a RH Drive but other than the RH Drive the car dosnt get me all that excited. January 3, 200817 yr comment_232932 Man, I was halfway there last weekend, I could use that car, but I'm in SoCal, and have work booked solid the next few weeks.Does oregon have a 'Temporary' registration, one you get 'while under maintenance'? Would that temporary tag suffice as 'registration'? It does in California (much to the chagrin of Code Enforcement). If you play the game right, you can have that maintenance sticker/temp reg extended for months, at least giving you time to sell it or get it garaged someplace. It would be a dire waste to see it crushed. E-Mail me and we can maybe work out a contingency plan if you can't sell it locally turbotonyATexciteDOTcomGoodLuck! January 4, 200817 yr Author comment_232947 Yeah I checked into the temp but in oregon you are only allowed 2 per car per year and they are only for 21 days each.
