Parts car stripped

The story from the PO is that his father-in law rebuilt it around 15 years ago and his son (brother-in law) talked his dad into letting him drive it home from the painters. He then wrapped it around a bridge railing. It was/is very bent up and the rebuilt was mostly bondo and fiberglass anyway. Both 1/4 panels are just bondo and the metal is completly rusted away. The same goes for the rockers and floorboards. It has been sitting in a barn since then. It came with the car I bought.

You might save the hatch strut (if good,) and the mounting bracket, turn the bracket around and weld it to the passenger side for a dual strut 240Z. Takes the pressure off the driver's side, less twist when lowering. Years ago the spot welds broke on mine and the hatch smashed me in the back, (ouch) heavier than you think from altitude. My friends said it looked like I had got half eaten, screaming and feet flailing. Found a spare from a doner and now have no fear of another failure. Therefore, my signature.

Got my parts car fully stripped today, now it is time to start on the project. I think I got everything that I could use off of her.

That thing looks like a cow carcass after a school of piranhas got ahold of it...great job picking it clean :)
