November 22, 200717 yr comment_229456 Awesome Job BROTHER You seem like one Happy Cat You must tell me how that Willwood Install goes. What rims or those, they look familiar.. I wanna use '17 inch Tenzo DC5 rims on mine Z but not sure if they will clear the calipers or not. January 25, 200817 yr Author comment_235367 Thank You for the kind words. Bonzi You are right the fun is at home. Linkstar07...Thank You. WingZr0.. Man You know exactly how I fell, hahahaha, the wheels are Konig Imagine Opal 17x7. The willwood install for the front was a piece of cake, now Im going with the rear, only took 30 minutes to pull it out. I bought some new tires Pirelli DRAGON It was a good deal for less than $500. January 25, 200817 yr comment_235371 WOW ! Those Opals are NICCCCE ! Nothing but Bling over there, now thats REALLY HOOD You have to PM me or post those install instrutions when you done if you don't mind. I like Willwood brakes and they make a Solid Quality product from what I've read. (Maybe it was all the Clint Eastwood movies I saw as a kid ) Everyone has Brembo's and I sorta can't stand them for that. They're like the Honda's of Brakes ! Perfect timing now I'm having Ruby's engine rebuilt 2 or 3 weeks from now and the shop doing it can also do the disc brake conversion too and Will's would be nice. Since everything far as brakes is concerned need to be replaced anyway, as recommended, the difference in price may actually be cheaper doing the conversion compared to stock Great Job though again man, Silver on Silver.... A dang Hot Wheels Car, thats what you have. February 5, 200817 yr comment_236416 Thought I'd post this for others wanting this upgrade,Just got a email from Dave at Arizona Z Car about rim clearance for the brakes."The 14's won't fit, you'll need at least 15" or 16" wheels. The inner diam must be at least 13.75" to clear the brakes.Dave"So if your favorite style rim is 14's you better find 'em in 15's orfind a 14 with MAD clearance.~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26309-she%C3%A2%C2%B4s-at-home/#findComment-236416 Share on other sites
