mazdatsun428 Posted November 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 24, 2007 I'll bet there are some good ads of the old Z in there, huh? I was only 13 then, too young to buy'em. but I do remember sneaking looks of my older brothers' mags. Can't say I remember the ads a whole lot though! I've got some old '79 issues and they have pics of my RX7 in them, full page.

bigoak Posted November 24, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 24, 2007 Glad that I'm a hockey player...actually bumped in to her once after a game in the family & friends area at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit (while she was dating Federov). She was with a friend who was, brace yourself, much hotter...

geezer Posted November 25, 2007 Share #7 Posted November 25, 2007 Yeah, now that you mention it, I do recall putting hundreds of those magazines in the attic...couldn't bring myself to throw them away at the time. Who knew they would serve to be Z research material today.
zztom Posted November 25, 2007 Share #8 Posted November 25, 2007 If you guys want a real collectible issue, get the SI Ultimate Swimsuit Issue. It has all years of Z cars covered AND many years of swimsuits. It has all the swimsuit girls from 1964-2002 with Zcars sprinkled in. Some of you might remember Cheryl Tiegs, Christi Brinkley, Barbara Carerra, but most of you know Heidi Klum.
